If you’ve ever been in the crypto area you must have heard the term wallet. A wallet is one of the fundamental needs for cryptocurrency trading and mining.

Today, I am going to introduce one of the main wallet suppliers that is widely known for its many features. It’s called atomic wallet and you’re going to love it.

The Atomic Wallet gives you the ability to start trading crypto right from the moment you make your wallet. As of now 500 different cryptocurrencies are supported with atomic wallet and of course it is always being updated and optimized.

Atomic Wallet has an app for both android and ios systems and also has an exclusive app for windows and mac.

Atomic Wallet is a multicurrency wallet made to help users save and manage more than 500 types of cryptocurrencies. You can also use it as your exchange center and do atomic tradings.

You can also use your credit card to buy and sell cryptos directly from the wallet. It is overall easy to use, even for the newbies. Add to all of the above the ability to include ERC20 tokens.

Atomic Wallet is totally free to use, though in-app purchases exist for some minor options.

The Wallet Backup Code

Like any other crypto wallet you are going to get a backup phrase for your wallet. As you probably already know this code should be heavily kept safe from any exposure and leak. Maybe you don’t have much money in it now but one day hopefully you’re going to fill it with lots of cryptocurrencies so try to save this phrase somewhere that even you can’t easily access.

In the event of your password being lost, you will be able to connect to your wallet with this backup code.

Do not try to memorize it as this way of keeping information isn’t 100 percent reliable and anyone might one day forget all or part of the code. Write it down physically on a paper and hide it somewhere safe.

Initial Registration

After installing the application on your system, you have to choose one of two options; Create a new wallet or Restore from backup. If it’s your first time using this wallet you have to create a new one for yourself. In the next page you have to set a strong password for your wallet, try using a really powerful one to avoid being hacked or infiltrated. Enter the chosen password for a second time and you’re ready to go.

In the next page you are going to see a 12 word sentence which is your backup code. Write it down on a piece of paper and store it somewhere safe as mentioned above.

After this step you are good to go start trading all the cryptos you want.

Restoring Your Old Wallet

If you have already made an atomic wallet before and you want to keep using that, you need to tap on the Restore From Backup option. Then you put in your 12 word backup code the exact same way it was written and then you’ll be logged in to your previously made wallet.

Transferring Cryptocurrencies with Atomic Wallet

In order to transfer your credit choose the wallet option from the lower menu and search for your desired cryptocurrency. Then you’ll see two options, Send and Receive.

After choosing your transaction option you have to put in the desired wallet information for the transaction to take place.

Crypto Staking With Atomic Wallet

This is the fun part of Atomic Wallet. With this option you can get free cryptocurrencies based on your previous tradings and transactions.

In order to use this ability you have to reach a certain initial value. For example, The AWD has a weekly staking of 10 units and staking from 10 to 990 units has 17 percent, from 1000 to 9999 units has 20 percent, and more than 10000 units has 23 percent interest. And for the NEO crypto for each new initiated block you get  the same number in interest.
